The Thomas J Riley Senior Center is a very special meeting place for Senior Citizens of the Pascack Valley, Bergen and Rockland Counties where you can:

  • ENJOY A HOT NUTRITIOUS AND DELICIOUS MEAL.   We offer a complete hot lunch Monday through Friday.

  • HAVE FUN AND MEET NEW FRIENDS.  We have lots of different activities like line dancing, BINGO, parties, lectures, and many other special events.

  • LEARN SOMETHING NEW. We offer many exciting classes.

  • KEEP FIT. Join one of our many exercise classes.  We offer Armchair fitness,Tai Chi, Senior Aerobics and much more.  Each class is geared towards the needs of the individual.

  • GET AND KEEP INFORMED.  You can get valuable information about benefit programs, have your income taxes done, attend health lectures and health fairs, or get answers to many other questions regarding senior issues.

  • STAY ACTIVE AND MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE.  Our programs are designed to keep your mind active and your body sound.

The Center charges a nominal fee of $2.00 per day ($1.00 for Westwood House Residents) to participate in any of the activities offered.  However, since we are a not-for-profit organization, any donation you can make to help defray our costs to run the Center will be greatly appreciated.  Donations are Tax Deductible.   Many of our participants choose to make a monthly donation based upon their income.  This donation is strictly voluntary and can be made anonymously if so desired.

We do request a $3.50 donation for those seniors who participate in the lunch program, but no meal is ever refused a senior who is unable to make a lunch contribution due to financial hardship.

A senior may on occasion bring a non-senior guest to lunch for an additional $6.50 donation.
